Forest Spirit Leather Bird maskby *Beadmask

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Masks

This handmade leather bird mask is painted in earthy shades of brown and gold. It features a faux wood grain background with a featherwork medallion at the forehead. At the center of the featherwork is a gorgeous jasper cabochon, set in a single row of glass seed beads.

The mask measures approximately 5" high by 7.75" wide at its highest and widest points. It is sealed front and back with a water resistant topcoat, and it ties with gorgeous and durable stretch ribbon.

As a side note, this mask is most flattering on folks with larger noses. It has a broader beak with less shaping than many of my other bird masks, so it should fit comfortably on a larger proboscis. This model has a smaller nose, and while she still looks gorgeous, the mask wears even better on someone with a strong nose.
