Haha, woops :D yeah, I've been wanting to make the ultimate peacock dress for ages  The colours are just so intense and gorgeous. And the peacock itself is ofcourse already super elegant ^^ So perfect theme for a dress, especially because it combines so easily with styles as Art Nouveau and all :p So that would be perfect for the matching jewellery again xD Lol I've apparantly already thought of almost everything :D
A white peacock dress would be cool too ^^ Too bad those feathers would be even more expensive and difficult to get.

Oh, you should make one! I was a vendor recently at the Vampire's Masquerade Ball, where everyone dresses to the nines. There was a woman there in an elegant brilliant blue dress. The dress was gorgeous as it was, but I kept imagining how spectacular it would be with some iridescent greens & bronzes, and peacock detailing.

Haha yeah I can totally imagine what you're saying :D There's just something about those colours that can make a bombastic dress look even more intriguing :p
And I'd looove to make one but finding enough feathers (without spending an absolute fortune) and the right fabrics is so difficult :( Plus, I have SO much other things I want to do I'm afraid I don't have enough time :D I also want to make some sort of 'living red rose' dress as far that's possible, and a white peacock or swan-ish dress (because swans are also super pwetty ) with some nice magenta/dark pink details and such, to contrast a bit. And a steampunk dress and arrgh, way too much :D
And even the finding or making of the perfect pattern for such dresses probably takes ages :p

LOL, it sounds like you are like me in that you have more ideas than time to actualize them all! I am happy if I can bring even a few of my ideas into fruition ... the rest just sort of percolate there in the back of my mind, waiting for a chance to happen ;)

Yes, true :D I'm just waaay to busy with school, really, 0% free time and social life :p So when that long awaitened summer vacation will arive in a couple of weeks I'll be soooo glad I can FINALLY do all those things I've been thinking about it the last year ^^
And yeah I know :D 100 ideas and only time or materials to actually do one of them.
But if I ever make something peacock-ish I'll let you know ^^ This certainly spurred the interest in such things up again :p Like fore example, I've been wanting to make my own fireplace with plaster mouldings for yeaaars now, with a peacock and/or a swan on it :D And roses ofcourse. So oooh now I'm all eager to start again :D
