Venetian Peacock Mask by Beadmask Venetian Peacock Mask by Beadmask
A sculpted leather bird mask in deep indigo, emerald and bronze. This one of a kind mask was crafted from high quality tooling leather, hand painted and sealed with a protective topcoat. It is accented with a peacock and pheasant feather medallion, with a beaded Swarovski gem at the center. The beak features a vintage brass filigree, and the swirling lines of this piece are echoed in the hand painted details.

Thank you! I use a lot of peacock colors and themes in my work -- they're such beautiful creatures.

Estate sales, antique shops & Ebay are all great places to score these old brass pieces.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to do some hunting. I also make leather masks, and your design was very inspirational.
